The Championship is from the 26th - 29th July.  The program for the event is Semi Finals on Friday 27th July and the Finals on Sat 28th July.
Lee who won this years Junior ABA title for the second consecutive year, will be competing in the 51kg division, he can't wait to fight for England again.

England training camp 13th - 15th July

Lee ward attended the England training camp which was held at the Peter Lee Boxing Academy County Durham.  This was an excellent chance for all the England boxers to meet each other, also to get an insight into all of their capabilities.
Last year there was no training camp so all the England boxers basically had to fight with coaches in the corner who they hadn't even met before.
This year's camp was an extremely valuable experience for all involved, so thanks to the ABA and National Coach Mick Gannon for giving more amateur boxers the chance to realise their dreams.
Ahmet Comert Multi Nation Tournament - Turkey

Amanda Groarke enjoyed her first international trip abroad with the female England squad.  This tournament was the first time the female squad has won a gold medal.
Amanda Coulson fought at 63kg and won gold; Nicola Adams fought at bantam weight and won bronze.  Amanda was very impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment of all of the girls who represented England.
Amanda also gained a lot of international coaching experience under the guidance of Head Coach Alwyn Belcher.
